ExiPay Welcomes New Product Manager Katharyn Gasson

ExiPay is pleased to announce that it has appointed Katharyn Gasson to the role of product manager for ExiPay Africa. She is an experienced product manager with a strong background in payment platforms and project management. Katharyn brings a wealth of experience to the team, having recently spent nearly four years leading a core product team at Yoco.

In this role, she was responsible for merchant-processor onboarding, transaction reconciliation processes with acquiring banks, merchant billing solutions, and daily merchant settlement processes.

Joins ExiPay in the role of Product Manager for ExiPay Africa

In this role, she defined platform requirements with business stakeholders and worked with technical leads to analyse, design and prioritise these requirements concerning the company roadmap. She built strong relationships with acquirers and other partners, led scheme and regulator compliance, and worked diligently to align the platform with the needs of its users. Her considerable experience engaging customers will serve her well as a product manager for ExiPay.

Before that, she worked as a project manager for digital projects, a software project manager, and a software delivery manager. Katharyn has a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University of Cape Town and several training programs, including Prince2: Practitioner, Scrum Master, Foundational Payments from PASA, and Product Management with Lean, Agile and System Design Thinking from edX. She loves learning, reading, food, and mainly trail running in her free time. Seeing the fynbos change through the seasons is such a joy. We are excited to have Katharyn on board to take on much of our focus on product management in collaboration with our Customers. She joins a truly remarkable team of innovators as we accelerate our vision of making payments better for our clients and their customers.
